Making Good Men Better

The Worshipful Master

Worshipful Master Thomas Lind

Worshipful Brother Thomas A. Lin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1946.  His petition was signed by the Past Master T. David Miller and he was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on January 13 2015.  WB Lind is the first in his family to become a member of Freemasonry.

Now retired , his working life started in 1963 when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.  After serving for eight years on active duty he decided to pursue new challenges and was honorably discharged in 1971.  He  then went to work for the Cincinnati Police Department and served both in a civilian and sworn capacity, starting as a clerk.  In 1973 he transitioned to a sworn Police Officer and retired after 25 years as a Sergeant in 1996.  Following that he immediately returned to work and  began a second career with the Cincinnati Police Department as a Computer Programmer Analyst, retiring for the second time in 2014.

He is enjoying the life of a Free Mason as it gives him plenty to do and keeps his mind active as he memorizes and practices ritual work., as well as spending time with the brothers in fellowship.  Following 50 years of service to his country and community, he feels that Freemasonry is a continuation of that service.

Tom has been married to Vicki for 46 years.  They live in Union Township, Ohio.
